FAQs
Yes – Typical wood working machinery, blades, bits, and cutter heads are perfect for fabricating PVC. All blades, cutter heads and bits must be sharp and undamaged for best results. Machinery must be in good working condition.

Kleer Trim & Mouldings should be cut with a carbide tip blade with 80 teeth or more. It is important to make the cuts quickly. We also have found that you can lightly spray the blade with cooking spray or furniture polish as a lubricant to avoid excessive build up on the blade. NOTE: Do not spray the mouldings as this will affect paint adhesion.

Use a good, sharp carbide tipped saw blade. Make sure the product is secure while ripping. After ripping, milling, or sealing the exposed cells on precision cut trim boards, you can: Sand the exposed cells with 320 grit sandpaper and then wipe them with solvent like acetone (must follow solvent manufacturer’s safety instructions). Just wiping the exposed area with a solvent will not completely seal the edges, but solvents do tend to soften or melt the cells, helping to seal them from debris. Paint the exposed area with a high-quality 100% acrylic latex trim paint.
